Emran | Soha Ali Khan| New Release | Tum Mile



Emraan Khan is back with his 'Jannat' director Kunal Deshmukh's film 'Tum Mile' which also stars Soha Ali Khan. The film revolves around the two leads who play former lovers who meet again after a gap of two years, and get embroiled in a nightmarish real life incident.

The film is set in 2005, against the backdrop of the shocking Mumbai floods in which at least 1,000 people died. On the fateful day of 26th July 2005, large numbers of people were stranded on the road, lost their homes, and many walked for long distances back home from work that evening. The floods were caused by the eighth heaviest ever recorded 24-hour rainfall figure of 994 mm (39.1 inches) which lashed the metropolis and intermittently continued for the next day.

In 'Tum Mile' Emraan and Soha Ali play former lovers, the film constantly flits into flashbacks which show the couple first falling in love, having a steady relationship, and then their arguments, irreconcilable differences and their eventual breakup. In the present day Emraan and Soha find themselves battling for their lives, stuck in the torrential rain and floods. As they struggle for survival through the stormy night they learn more about each other than they knew in all those years of being together.

Director Kunal Deshmukh has stated that 'Tum Mile' is a much more mature effort than his previous film 'Jannat'. Deshmukh has earlier worked with Emraan in 'Zeher' in which he was the assistant director to Mohit Suri. Deshmukh went on to be the chief assistant director for Kalyug (2005), another Emraan Hashmi flick and also Woh Lamhe (2006). The film features some state of the art CGI, all of the thunderstorm sequences were recreated in huge sets erected at a studio at the outskirts of Mumbai.

Emraan & Soha are trying their luck with 'Tum Mile' to set a new record at the box office. Sound track of 'Tum Mile' has already created weaves among the viewers.

Emraan Hashmi plays the role of 'Ali Taha' and Soha Ali Khan plays the role of 'Sanjana' who happens to be the ex-lovers and they meet again on a stormy night after six years, who has been separated as their relationship didn`t work out.

Circumstances force both of them to be under one roof, as Mumbai reels under turmoil in its darkest hours.

Tum Mile is a journey to the past and present life of two ex-lovers. The movie captures the ex-lovers changing personalities, attitudes and love.

'Tum Mile' is produced by Mahesh Bhatt, with the music scored by Pritam. 'Tum Mile' releases on November 13th, alongside the mammoth disaster movie '2012'.
