'Jashnn - The Music Within' is a story about a nobody who wants to be a somebody. Akash Verma (Adhyayan Suman) is that nobody who wants to make it big as a singer.
But for someone who has big dreams, Akash is unable to search for a distinctive voice that he can call his own that will help reach him to the top. Only when he's shattered by life and looks at the truth straight in the face - that he is freeloading off his elder sister, Nisha (Shahana Goswami). In order to help support herself and his brother, Nisha becomes a mistress for a rich businessman, Aman Bajaj (Humayun Saeed), a man whom Akash despises.
Call it a twist of fate, but the only person who cheers up and supports Akash in finding his inner voice is non other than Aman's sister, Sara (Anjana Sukhani). Sara helps Akash realize that he is going through a difficult phase and giving up is not an option.
Due to his life's bittersweet lessons, and Sara's love and support, he suddenly finds the music and voice within himself. Not only does his voice make him an overnight sensation, but it also helps bring dignity to his sister, humbles his biggest detractor Aman, and in the process, lives up to the faith that Sara had in him all along.
After the success of 'The Killer' and 'The Train', the duo couple Raksha and Hasnain team up with the Bhatt brothers in this musical production.
The music is done by non other than the duo Sharib-Toshi. After the success of their first composed song "Maahi" in 'Raaz 2', they step up their game into making a composition for the entire soundtrack in order to gain more momentum as singers and composers.
